So what sets xhamster apart from Xvideos and Pornhub? Well, for me, when I think of xhamster, I mainly think of home-made porn videos. Sure, you can find home-made content on other sites but xhamster seems to be the the place where the content was originally uploaded and it is fondly known as “The people’s porn network”. The founders created it with a social media aspect in mind and it developed a sort of niche feel that separates it from the pack

The site has regular features that it’s competitors has such as the ability to create an account, save favourites, subscribe to channels, follow users, all that fun stuff. Some of the features it has that other big tubes don’t is a dating option. Yes, xhamster has a legit dating feature that does not redirect you to a third party site so try your luck, you may end up fucking the same chick you’ve been fapping to!

Another unique feature this tube has is the ‘stories’ feature. If you would rather get stimulated by words and leave the rest to your imagination, the stories section is an area where users can submit erotica and you can filter them out by selecting tags.

In recent years, xhamster has been taking some political stances and letting their views be known to the public. Back in 2016 after the state of North Carolina enacted laws that permitted its jurisdictions to openly discriminate against members of the LGBT community, xhamster blocked all North Carolina IP addresses from accessing their site. Also in 2016, in light of the Brock Turner case, xhamster decided to take a stance against “rape culture” so you basically wont get any results if you search for the term ‘rape’ but you can still find aggressive like sex if you search for BDSM or similar terms.

I personally do not like politics and wish they would just focus on porn. We know there are bad things happening in the world, we are reminded of that with the 24/7 news cycle, we don’t wanna hear about it in our fapping sessions as well!
