When I think of DP, the only thing that comes to mind is a beautiful woman having both of her holes drilled mercilessly, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks this way. Well, when I saw DP as the logo for a seemingly popular website, I couldn’t wait to see how many anal scenes it had at its disposal. As it turns out, DP stands for Digital Playground, and as soon as I saw the site’s full name, I was hit by a warm wave of nostalgia. This website has been in the industry for over 25 years, and I have very fond memories of watching its scenes back in the day, which, even though they weren’t focused on anal, still had enough ass-pounding videos to keep me gripped to my screen.

It’s been quite a while since I last entered Digital Playground, so I was pretty excited to see whether everything stayed as good as I remembered. The last time I was on there, it had a plethora of kinky games, and it was one of the only places where you could find a raunchy movie with a gripping plot that didn’t have horrendous acting. Since many older sites that I used to visit have been ruined or stopped running, I definitely had my doubts about this one. Well, as soon as I saw that there were 3382 videos and 468 movies to watch and that the website was still updating, I just had to become a member and inspect every corner of it.

Simplicity is the way to go

If I had a dime for every time I entered a site and got a headache from the confusing and cluttered designs, I’d be rich and not worrying about which premium site to subscribe to. Thankfully, I don’t need to whip out painkillers for Digital Playground, as its main page is just as simple as I like it to be. Sure, there are a few large banners between the lists of animated thumbnails, but since everything is neatly packed and there’s no clutter, it’s pretty easy to get immersed. Most importantly, the layout is basic, so I don’t have to search for guides and instructions online to figure out how to get to the spiciest videos with my favourite tags.

As far as the categories go, the list isn’t really that large, considering just how many scenes there were to filter out. This was a bit confusing, but luckily, it all made sense once I entered the list of scenes. Instead of having to scroll through tags on a separate tab, you can simply choose one of the hundreds that are right above the videos themselves. Now, even though sorting and filtering were very easy and intuitive, I was most impressed by how much detail went into the descriptions. Not only did the movies have gripping plot summaries, but all of the pornstars in the model index had juicy biographies, ratings from other members, and body proportions.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for

Designs and layouts are important, but if there isn’t any good content to scroll through, it doesn’t matter how good everything else is. I always get slightly nervous when inspecting an old site I used to regularly visit, but I shouldn’t have been worried about Digital Playground. Not only are there still plenty of beautiful videos that contain a wide array of pornstars of all ages and ethnicities, but the movies are still just as juicy and are packed with unique plots that can be found nowhere else but here. I mean, where else can you watch hour-long parodies of Star Wars, Han Solo, and movies with storylines that focus on medieval times and aliens alongside regular cheating, college girls, and stepmom plots?

Even though Digital Playground is famous for its movies, I still prefer the Full HD videos that, on average, last 30 minutes, which is just enough time for a plot to be introduced without it becoming a chore to watch. As far as scenes go, there’s basically anything that comes to mind, from cuckoldry, infidelity, step-families, and gangbangs, which are my personal favorites, to sensual videos, solo stripping, and masturbation. There’s at least 1 video and photo set uploaded every week, and while it’s not the fastest upload schedule from what I’ve seen, it’s still pretty good considering the quality of the movies and the performances within them.

There’s always a catch

Digital Playground might lure you in with free trailers and a great design, but to watch the scenes, you’ll first have to become a member like on any other premium website. Thankfully, the site does offer a 7-day trial membership for only $1, so I can’t really complain too much. As far as other options go, you have your regular monthly subscription fee of $32.99, which is the most popular plan. If you plan on being a member for longer periods of time I’d suggest taking the 3-month or 12-month membership plan since they’re billed in one payment and discounted by a hefty amount.

If there’s one thing I hate about life in general, not just in porn, it’s being lied to. Although my experience on Digital Playground was as close to perfection as possible so far, something didn’t seem right. After thoroughly reading through the “Get Access” page I found no information about 4K content and downloads. Well, it turns out that the site conveniently forgot to add that if you plan on watching content in 4K or downloading it, you’ll have to pay extra. Now, it could be an honest mistake, but I’m leaning more on the side that the website is trying to suck out every last hard-earned tax-paying money from its users.

In retrospect

I hate ending things on a sour note, so I was disappointed to see Digital Playground try to mess with its members by not disclosing additional subscription fees. It might sound like a deal-breaker to some, but even though I’m angry at the fees, I’ll still keep renewing my membership. Sure, I hate paying extra and being misinformed, but I can’t lie and say that the content itself isn’t one of the best in the industry. It has everything you need, from simple and kinky videos to full-length movies that you can immerse yourself in, so as far as I’m concerned, the site’s still worth joining due to its huge library of videos that keeps improving every week.

The biggest reason why the website has been so popular and beloved by many for over two decades is the high quality and variety it has to offer to its users. Whether you’re a fan of parodies, full-length movies with in-depth character development, or just regular porn with kinky plots, you’re bound to find the perfect scene within seconds of browsing Digital Playground. It’s not a perfect site by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m sure that most people who spend the 7-day trial period on it can’t resist the temptation of resubscribing. Don’t believe me?
